Amdanga Jugal Kishore Mahavidyalaya commenced its journey on 20th July, 2007 with the noble aim of imparting higher education to young people predominantly hailing from remote villages. Situated in a bucolic background this college has been instrumental in offering multiple opportunities to the rural students and opening for them numerous doors to advancements. Since assuming charge, one of the major challenges faced by me was to create more lucrative opportunities for the young generation, so that they could be prevailed upon to pursue higher studies. Apart from strengthening the academic facilities available from this college, I have laid special emphasis on augmenting extracurricular activities for students, enabling them to consolidate holistic growth and pass their sophomore years in an amalgam of progress and joy.
