About the Department

Arabic department of  Amdanga Jugal Kishore Mahavidyalaya started its journey from 2017 with two guest lecturers Md Golam Mortoja and Mahabubar Rahaman. From the beginning ,The department has been offering B.A Arabic general degree course till now(2022). Every year a number of students take admission in Arabic general  course.

Though the college is located in minority populated area so the department has a bright future.

The main things that the Arabic department emphasize are to impart knowledge of Arabic language, literature & its history  to the students and to make them prepared well so that they can easily get admission  in M.A course in any university.
