Amdanga Jugal Kishore Mahavidyalaya

It has already been over seven years since I joined this college. With tremendous support from our President Janab Rafiqur Rahaman, honourable MLA, Amdanga AC; the Members of the Governing Body, Teaching and Non-Teaching staff of the college and from my Beloved Students, the college could make considerable progress in the last few years. We can now boast of one new four-storied building along with the existing one in our premises which is now fully functional from 2020. The building has all the features of a state-of-the-art higher educational institute which include smart and airy classrooms, WIFI enabled campus, a large library, Seminar Room, canteen, water purifiers, water cooler, ramp and washrooms for differently abled stakeholders, fire fighting equipments and literally a Green Campus. We have obtained UGC affiliation under 2(f) and 12 B schedule of UGC Act of 1956 and are now eligible to seek assistance from University Grants Commission for infrastructural and academic upliftment. We had passed through a tough time during the lockdown due to pandemic of Covid-19. Direct teacher-student interaction, the backbone of any educational institution, was restricted due to the pandemic. But we have successfully overcome the obstacles by upgrading our networking system to enable our teachers to take hassle-free online classes on a regular basis. This has enabled and partly equipped us with necessary preparation as per guidelines laid down in NEP 2020. I would like to conclude with the assurance that I will always be there for each and every student, teacher, and non-teaching staff of the college and hope that they will try their level best to uplift this institution to its optimum potentiality.
