Add-on CourseAdd on courses are introduced in order to boost up a student's academic engagement, motivation to cultivate knowledge, morale and also to enhance potentials for Employability. All add on courses are approved and the course contents are duly sanctioned by West Bengal State University. We have taken due care to design the course content and frame the course structure in concoction with the regular UG course, so that students can continue with any add on course simultaneously. Keeping in view NEP-2020 and its prescribed guidelines, the add on courses are structured in a way that would complement a student's regular course. In near future each add on course may be counted as a course carrying 2-credit and incorporated within CBCS curriculum. At present we have introduced total five number of Add On courses. Add On Course On Yoga was introduced in 2022 with due approval of WBSU and conducted in association with SSB 63rd Battalion, North 24 Pgs. It was the first ever Add On course introduced by our college and the first batch completed the course successfully by February, 2023. We also got 4 other Add On Courses approved by WBSU. Other than these 5 Add On Courses, we are also happy to introduce another Add On Course on Enhancing Employability Skill for Women Students of our college. This course is being run in association with Naandi Foundation, an NGO which works with Mahindra CSR Fund and has signed MoU with WBSU. We hope to continue with this special course once in a year and open up avenues for our daughters. Women students of Semester VI and women alumni can join the course free of cost. On successful completion, candidates are provided with employment assistance to find a service of their choice. List of Add On Courses:
